So you can take one bag and as many infants as you like, whatever they weigh - bit rude to class kids as baggage though  ;)

Not long since returned from a jet 2 flight for which we had prepaid for 1 case ( 22kg) and had 2 free 10kgs of handluggage. One of the freebies was a wheelie case but well within the dimesnions including handle and wheels and a rucksack again would pass scrutiny. On both the out and return legs we were asked if we minde our handluggage being stowed in the hold at no cost as they had so many passengers who had only opted for handluggage there wasnt going to be enough room in the overheads! i saw some very generous cases being hoisted into those lockers . How long I wonder before they change that rule. you can easily go away for a couple of nights with a 10kg case- well I imagine you can- i cant!

Yes I've had that on Jet2 and easyJet - I always volunteer to have ours put in the hold if they ask - I hate having to find space anywhere other than directly above my seat :D, and there's nothing worse than everyone going forward when getting off the plane - and your bag is 10 rows back because that was the only space left  :)

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place but have just checked on Manage Booking FAQs. Hand luggage 55cms x 40cms x 20 cms.  I haven't been able to find the measurements you gave Stoop.

Hope these measurements are correct or the new cabin bags we bought recently will be obsolete!

No not 10kg on easyJet - it's any weight as long as you can lift it (yourself) into/out of the overhead lockers. On one flight the cabin staff got very shirty when a girl asked for help to get her case down, even though she explained she had injured her shoulder. I got it down for her, as she had a lovely pair of shoulders.

Just back from the pub so I will put the link up tomorrow. Think I got it from the FTC website and it was. Plied and pasted. Hope it's wrong 'cause it seems a bit small!
