New Legislation for Property Rentals

New legislation came into force on 1 July 2012 for owners and renters of property in Turkey.  The link below may be of interest to anyone who is living in rented property.

No artiş for 5 years if rent being paid in foreign currency. Not good to owners if the leases are in euros. The deposit being put into escrow as been a long time coming and about time.
