Drains & pouring money down them
« on: September 11, 2012, 12:45:35 PM »
I assume that the summer project of digging up the roads and gardens around the new bridge area to lay nice new sewers must be coming to an end .........................

Has any one yet been approached about having their house connected ?

Any idea of costs or what our responsibility will be ?

( Some how I don't think I am going to like the answers )

At the other house we paid about £350 5 years ago. There are 4 houses on our complex one septic tank next to the gate feeds 2 houses the manhole is less than 3 metres from it, they refused to put a pipe in as they only do one feed per complex, so he said they would take all our paving up approx 50m to feed into the mains from the other gate, and of course nothing goes back correctly Bonkers

Hi Mark - I wondered if you had persuaded them to change their mind ?
But I assume no one has actually started digging up your complex and our drive ??
