Have owned a property in Fethiye area for 7yrs. Have tapu, living permission and all utility bills in our name. Pay council tax twice a year. Some asked me about my property tax payments?? What are they? What is property tax? Worried that I've not paid something rather substantial! I am a very thorough person, so thought I'd researched and covered everything! Hope someone can shed some light. Thanks

I'd guess they mean council tax. I can't think of anything you have not been paying over the 7 years. Don't worry. Be happy.

I should also say that property tax can be what some people call the tax you pay when you purchase the property. You will have paid that.
