We were going to Tenerife and the pilot had to land in Lisbon to drop off a heart attack passenger which is understandable but to me once you someone has died I cant see why the plane can't continue to its final destination.

They should never have allowed him to fly.
When he boarded he was grey and sweating profusely ( probably 70 years old and about 20 stone)
Sat right at the front so all passengers (including kids) watched an hour of chest compressions on the floor  :(
Continuing back to Gatwick with him was not an option - getting him back in his seat would have taken a forklift.
A very sad and distressing experience but I suppose he was nearer heaven when he died   :)  :)  :)

The flight was Onur Air from Newcastle.  I'm sure they were dropping something or someone off at Izmir.
They are a Turkish Airline and Izmir is one of the airports they serve.  My friend booked the flight with Sunshine,
who sub contracted it to another company who assigned Onur Air.  WHY ???  Not cheap either  £360 return.
