The poor chef struggled with the sheer weight.

My friend and her mum are currently out at Nicholas Heights Deluxe.
Pasted below is what happened to them last night  ??? :o ???

This is priceless and could only happen to me, order my mum a birthday cake through hotel reception and obviously I have to pay for it which I don't mind, so waiters bring the cake last night and everyone sings happy
birthday including the guests, he then cuts 2 slices of the cake for me and my mum and takes the cake
away as I think to put in the fridge, so I ask for the rest of the cake this morning so I can give a bit to the maid etc after about 4 phone calls from the reception girl to kitchen etc she tells me their is no cake left the chefs etc ate it!!!!!! Cheeky b*****ds I say I pay quite a lot of money for a cake to get 2 slices and
they greedy b*****ds decide to
eat the rest without even asking, never order a cake in Turkey!!!!!! Rant over

They were at Nicholas Heights Deluxe Mary 62

This is so unacceptable and definately 'not the norm!'I've known someone in the hotel/restaurant trade for over 20 years and he would NEVER give someones birthday cake to the staff, unless all the guests had been served and the birthday person gave their permission for the remains of the cake to be given away.I've known him to wrap up the remains of a cake and give it to the guests who ordered it.

If it was anything like the cake presented to Hilary for one birthday then the chefs did your mum a favour. The "pasta" had the consistency of sawdust and, I imagine, a similar taste.
