Useless signs that annoy me.

Just looking at a Buzzfeed on FB about useless signs.
One that really irritates me is

 "No Fly Tipping"

I drive past one of these regularly down a nearby lane and it is useless.  Surely anyone who is so inconsiderate as to dump a mattress or bags of rubbish is going to take zero notice of a sign like that.......what's the point?

It is these huge big neon signs that have been put up along main roads that annoy me with useless information, such as Fasten your seatbelt, Don't drink and drive.  We often wonder how much these signs cost the council to put up and maintain.

I particularly like the matrix signs that appear mostly in Scotland advising motorists to "Check Your Tyre Pressures". If we took that advise and stopped to do so, the motorways would be even more ****ed up than they are already.

 Seen on a motorway sign:

"Be considerate and take your rubbish home -  others do"

So, Mr Motorway sign maker-upper, are you suggesting it is me that chucks rubbish out of the car and that I am the only person in the whole wide world that does this?
