Ok! So you are all saying you are only allowed one 90 day visit per year. Not one up to 90 day visit per 180 days...

Is that correct please...

Thanks all.

You can have any number of visits in 180 days as long as they don't add up to more than 90 days. But if you intend to stick to your preferred dates you can't fit more than 90 days in the 180 day period between May and October. From other forums the consensus is that the only way around this is juggling between tourist visas and short-term residency - as JohnF suggested in his first reply. I know people who manage to stay 6 months on, 6 months off, and I assume they use this method.

Ok! Yes! Confusing. Even for the Border control police who were helpful but not sure of anything, London Turk Consul don't want to know, nor do the London Turk Embassy, e visa contact advise say ask your local Turk Ministry?? UK visa advise won't answer questions about visas.

Ovacik has been our HOME for the past 13 years 6 months each TR and UK.  3  months (90) days each visit only 2 visits per year.

gillian handbury 3x6 weeks is only 90 days. Thank you anyway.

JF  we will pursue the short term residency when we find out who to ask...

Again Big Thanks.

On my calculator 6 weeks x 7 days x 3 visits = 126 days. But you don't want some of those days anyway.

Go and ask Yakup. Best advice I think and face to face, so you can ask him any questions. 90 days in 180 is the rule.
