Astonishing. I did love the bit when he thought the person struggling with basic arithmetic was me and went a bit smug and forceful.

jamesuk was in a hole and digging - there was only one, inevitable conclusion.

Been there but not involving mental arithmetic 'cos I'm good at that stuff - 'twas a long time ago, before I became a nice chap.

Schadenfreude, Scunner - (enjoyably) cruel to watch but probably necessary for jamesuk's future postings.

Ah - on second reading, it appears that he didn't realise he was in a hole.

Everybody else did.....

There are 3 kinds of people in this world.

Those who are good at Maths, and those that aren't.

And those who can't do maths but don't let that stop them when on a public forum

Looked it up......

...acquired as a result of brain injury or stroke.

Given that you were aware of your condition, it's  somewhat surprising that you would adopt such a smug/arrogant attitude towards somebody questioning your maths.

You keep on digging......

No need to take the p... - you're doing a perfectly good job of that on your own.

Put the spade down, enjoy the forum join in on level terms.
