Cappadicia

Recent did an organised trip to Cappadocia-4days-3nights.

I am not well travelled but can honestly say, I dont think I will go anywhere to top this place!

Historic, magical, clean, inexpensive, quirky, very friendly people, who are so genuinely pleased, to see and share their piece of Turkey, which dates back to the Paleolithic era.

Never realised that approx 400,000!!! approx Christians lived in these cave dwellings, thought it was just a couple of thousand. I learnt so much history, something I was not overly interested in school (awful teacher).

If you are given an opportunity to go, dont pass it over. My trip incorporated Mevlana Museum and an overnite stay in Konya. You will not be disappointed, it exceeded all my expectations and more.

Just a selection of the 400 photo's I took!!

Its one place we are determined to get to in the next year or so, heard so much about it.

I am interested to know who you booked with as well.
