Cycle track
« on: December 15, 2018, 12:28:52 PM »
I have recently been hearing about a fairly major problem with the cycle track in that, when it's wet, the surface becomes very slippery. I've heard of 3 accidents where the cyclists have fallen off & needed hospital treatment, the latest an ex-pat lady, who I know cycles quite sedately. She'll have her leg in plaster for the next 6 weeks.

After coming off my  bike I won't use the cycle path in wet conditions now.Use your brakes and the bike wheels just go from under you. >:(

Thanks for the warning, we use it alot, and didn't realise it was slippery in wet conditions, I'm not that confident so this is worth knowing.  xx
