a plot of land in front of a friends apartment supposed to be for a playground when she bought it in Calis now has the Kassaba coffee shop within touching distance of her balcony. Its open all hours with live music some nights, so be careful. Its on the market road opposite the pet shop, there are still a lot of building plots in that area.

I remember Cenk (interturk) telling a customer that a property they had seen with another agent faced a plot of tourism land (i.e. for hotel development etc not residential). The customer was told by the other agent that it was just dirty tactics to stop him buying from someone else.

I assume these days he realises who was telling the truth each time he looks out of his property to see the Nevada Su Hotel, towering above.

When we first looked for properties the dirty word at the time was turistic no one would talk about it except Cent he point blank refused to sell any property built on turistic land and he told me a few horror stories a man you can trust

There seem's to be some amazing properties around, and the new builds look to be getting cheaper.

Bargains because the lira is ******ed and Turkey not the place to buy that it used to be so lots of people selling.
Buy if you are not relying on an income or making any money from your property.
