Title: 40 Years of the OGWT
Post by: valleyboy on August 20, 2011, 13:28:11 PM: The iconic music programme The Old Grey Whistle test started in 1971, BBC 2 is running a series of radio shows to celebrate the event, I thought we would have a "CBF Hommage" to the programme, which to people of a certain age will probably appreciate, I know the hours spent in front of the "telly" on a tuesday night listening to "whispering Bob" certainly helped to forge my personal musical taste !

Ah ! yes Rindaloo (love that name), the memories come flooding back, the one I remember is the first time I heard Tubular Bells played over some obscure B & W film of skiers !!!
