Agree there Cenk, I spoke to someone re these shops as he was approached sometime back re taking on one of the units (Yes he is Turkish) he could afford it and take the losses, but even he turned it down.

Apparently £10,000 per year would give you a very small area, just enough to swing a cat (if so inclined):D

Method in their madness I reckon, wont be able to rent any off at the price they want, so they will stand empty for a while then they will put in for change of use to apartments (not daft are they)?  It will spoil the whole look of Hisaronu and tell me if the post office will be relocated to somewhere else, people without cars use it all the time and saves them trailing into Fethiye.  I think we ought to have a protest outside the post office with placards saying save out post office!!! Hands off Nicholas.

Your're right Steve B, the Mayor has bought a Hisaronu Franchise of Mc Donalds and that will be in the shopping center.

O.K here are my thoughts.Bring on all the people that are going to disagree. What part of Hisaronu should be kept?? The village is evolving. Advantages good food offered throughout. I will stand and say that it resembles Majorca for it's bars. But i will say that the atmosphere and smell whilst walking through creates a carnival atmosphere.Keep this but hey why not go upmarket a little Change is going to happen. Change is inevitable change can benefit but do not loose sight of what Turkey is about.

hi was ther over the new year the foudations are already down it looks huge i think it will be an eye sore i did not realise the ata was so big .
i was amased at the speed they had take the ata down and i would emagine they might have had to blast the gound as it is solid rock and it goes down along way to make way for 3 stories
i think the post office must be protected as it is the only bit of the building still there .
we also thought the top floor was villas.
we must all wait maybe we may be supised with the result
