If you are looking for plants there is a place behind Homebase that is selling plants.
It is run as a charity. People with mental health problems and learning disabilities work with there.
Prices are very reasonable. Give them a try if you are looking for some plants.

Oh I love initiatives like this. I work with children taken into residential care and some of the ressy schools have stalls at weekends which sell school/young people's home grown produce like plants, eggs, home baking, wood carvings ect. I always try to support the "underdog" as opposed to the big retail outlets.

It is a good cause as the people who work there are getting something worthwhile to do..It is also much cheaper than Dobbies.
