Hi there,
I'm Hussain and I'll be flying out to Turkey this Sunday 19th June with my new wife! I bought an apartment in Ovacik about five years ago but I haven't visited since! Unfortunately!! Long story!!

Anyway, I've visited Turkey several times before then but it'll be the first time for my wife and I'm hoping she'll like Turkey and the apartment.

I was talking to someone about our trip and they recommended this Forum. Great to see there are so many members and a wealth of information!

Welcome Hussain - I'm sure your wife will love it. My wife told me to cancel our first holiday to Turkey when I told her I'd booked it. Same wife who moved there with me for 5 years

Welcome Hussain. I'll bet your wife is one of the many who fall in love with Turkey on their first visit - just like we did 10 years ago. Been coming back ever since, can't keep away!

I'm sure you won't have to worry about whether your wife will love Turkey - what's not to love?? And CBF is such a friendly forum with lots of useful information here about Fethiye and Turkey, she'll soon feel right at home. Welcome to you both.

Many thanks for the warm welcome fellow CBF members! Appreciate it very much! Personally, I love Turkey and hence the buying of the apartment! Like you say 'CaroleandTayfun' what's not to like - the people are friendly, the scenary is awesome, the weather is great, the sun, the sea, the sand...can just keep going on and on... and oh yes, there's a little town called Istanbul up North!

Hoping to keep the apartment and make regular trips over but the Boss might disagree! So let's hope she doesn't - a little bit like your wife 'Scunner - the Chairman of the bored' (really like that!) - it's my third attempt to get my wife over to Turkey - the first time, I ended up going to Rome instead (last October - got to see the Pope though in full ceremony!); the second time - The Lake District (Over Easter - still wondering how she got that over me!) - third time lucky!
