Arriving 10 September...

Hi all. Pleased to have found this discussion group!

I am coming to Calis Beach/Fethiye on 10 September for a couple of weeks, can't wait! I have been twice before and loved it each time.

Anyone here know if the Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are still on in Fethiye. I haven't been before but found some listed.

Any feedback would be great!

Hi and welcome to the forum.  I am more than sure that if you go
to some of the restaurants on the Calis front that someone will be
able to point you in the right directtion although I DON@T think many if ANY will go with you.  Hope you have a lovely holiday.

With regard to AA meetings, Rach22, when I said I hadn't been before, I meant to meetings in Turkey. I am a long time away from alcohol and have been an AA member for some years. No, I don't need anyone to go with me.

I have an address in Fethiye for meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so Rach22 are there some in Calis too? That would be great.  I was recently in Paris and went to one or two meetings there.

I believe you guys had a bit of rain the other day. I was in Calis Beach last year for a fortnight around the same time and it was scorching. Has this summer been as hot?

I remember the Calis beach market is on Sundays but does anyone know when the Fethiye market is held? Are there other good ones in the district that can be reached by Dolmus?
