Hi Forum Members,

My name is John and I am visiting your fair country next week with my partner. I have never been to Turkey before however my partner has, all be it a fair few years ago.

We are staying in the southern part of Fethiye at the Hillside complex, we have no major plans as yet other than the market on Tuesday.

I have joined the forum to try and get a feel for the area before we visit, I hope that's ok!

Hi John and welcome to the forum - you are staying at a truly amazing hotel and probably won't want to do much else other than visit the market - it was after my first stay at Hillside many years ago that I decided I wanted to live in Turkey one day - you will have the most amzing time - the food is wonderful, the location is beautiful and the entertainment is first rate.   Have a fantastic time  :-)

Thanks again all!

@Kizkucuk, my other half had stayed there a fair few years ago with family and thats why we are going. My partners dad couldn't say anything bad about it and along with more than 250 positive trip advisor reviews it was something we was determined and confident to do. It's taken a year to save for it though!

From reports I have heard from friends who went this year it just keeps getting better and better.   Expensive but worth every penny  :-)
