Having lived in Nif for two years, we have just joined the forum.  It will be great to keep up with news and  events as we keep missing them! Last year we learnt about the Uzumlu mushroom festival two after it had finished!!!! Better luck this year now we've joined the forum.

Welcome Sandy & Jon, where is NIF? some neighbours brought back some huge blackberries from there a couple of years ago and I've been meaning to find it ever since. Hope you enjoy the forum and don't miss this years mushroom festival.

Nif is a valley about 15 Kms higher up the Denizli road from Uzumlu. Solely farming, mostly cherries and fruit hence the huge blackberries and Kiwi. We have an organic small holding and are almost self sufficient now only having to go to Fethiye for dog food as our ducks, chickens and geese are not breeding quite enough for the pack! Apart from arable and fruit we have sheep,a mule and donkey and soon goats so kept busy keeping the veg plots safe from hungry eyes.
