Title: Interesting article on the Turkish Lira
Post by: usedbustickets on March 17, 2014, 13:55:49 PM
An interesting article today on the Turkish Lira from the BBC Chief Business Correspondent (I could do that gissa job!!) Linda Yueh, in which she comments on an interview she has had with the Turkish Economic Minister.  Worth the read on what has gone on and is going on in the future for the TL.  Can be found here:-

Mind you some of her comments and analysis will probably get her on Reg's hit list, but certainly well down the list from telephone tappers, Youtube, Twitter and 15 year old boys who were killed by the police when shopping for the family.  How low can this man go. >:( >:(

Good article and sums up the fragile position the Turkish economy is in.

Here's the TZ take on what he's doing:  Erdogan bringing turkey to brink of collapse amid corruption scandal (http://www.todayszaman.com/news-342164-erdogan-bringing-turkey-to-brink-of-collapse-amid-corruption-scandal.html)
