Just as a warning to others and this topic may need bumping up somewhere else as I'm sure it will effect many of us.
We have contacted Lloyds bank today who we have our travel insurance (as a good many of you do) to ask the question what is covered in the way of laptop, Ipad, kindle, camera, ect ect as all the items are now having to be put in the hold on return and they have said NONE of them are covered as they are all classed as personal items and should stay with you at all times. Our case are covered for £2,500 each for clothes ect but not the electricals,personal items or jewellery.
We inquired about paying a supplement to get them covered but they dont do one!!
I thought this might catch a few of us out so best to check with your insurers.
We are in limbo now looking for some cover.
