Hi Lance,
Don't think that you can arrange this in the UK.  All Aspects arranged ours for us and it didn't take long at all, for us anyway...

Our agent also arranged ours.  We met the insurance agent for about 30 mins before dinner one night.

i am sure your agent will arrange it for you but if you go to aviva sigorta in fethiye you will just pay the insurance price, not the agents cut as well.  the policy is printed in english as well

We recently took out buildings and contents insurance with the local Allianz man.   He was very helpful, speaks good English and even took us out to lunch!   Also helped us buy a television set and secured good discount.   The policy is written in English, and payment can be made by credit card in sterling, thereby saving on exchange fees.  Please feel free to email us for further details.
