As it's republic day today, does that mean the banks will be closed at all this week, if so will it be just Monday. Alan

On the 1st page of the cbf is a calender, at the side of it, it said 28th, republic day, next to it is says 29th was republic day, which i didn't read until afterwards, so is it the Sunday that is republic day, or the bank holiday the monday following, or what , as in England boxing day falling on a Sunday, a lot of people call boxing day the Monday, which is the bank holiday. Republic Day day is (and has been since 1923  ;)) the 29th of October.
