Various hotels with good potential

To the left of the prom, the likes of the Hotel Berlin and Simsek are having a facelift currently. The Berlin have balconies now which,(IMHO) rival the Delta and look quite impressive. The main entrance to these hotels run paralel to the prom past the bridge, are also being upgraded with beautiful marble tiling outside and also on pavement. Looks nice.
Kerim hotel across from water taxi is in an ideal location ruined solely by having B52's as a neighbour. I had a look around the grounds and the pool area is lovely and the bar and restaurant are competatively priced. The noise from B52 would be a killer though.
Amber Pide across from the Tugay, have extended their building by 2 stories. They have built almost complete apartments to a high standard. The top floor ones are pariclarly nice with better views and have family rooms. I'd imagine breakfast is available in the amber restaurant. Although they don't have a pool, the Tugay allow others to use their pool.

Yes I'd agree that the hotels at the left turn end seem to be getting a real facelift - long overdue but very welcome. Another one along there to mention, the Manas Park Hotel which was just doing the finishing touches when we passed also looks very impressive. There's still a couple of small triplex old pensions along there too  :)

They were just finishing off the new look garden bar area of the Mutlu - it's very classy indeed and with views and breeze that you just can't beat.

Forgot to mention Manas Park Scunner. Agree it looks lovely too and it goes without saying that the Mutlu is beautiful. Had a gander round and its location and decor is very enviable.
:D

I didn't notice any facelift to the hotel when we stayed two weeks ago. The outside bar area has been redone and is lovely.

Is the Manas Park's clientele mainly German. And that's merely an observation.

That's merely a question surely :D

I have no idea, but it does feature on some of the main hotel booking sites in the UK.

Here is a Facebook photo (courtesy of Calis Boat) showing how that fairly scruffy row of hotels has changed beyond recognition for this season:
