Actually I will dare to say my thoughts as well.If I did not work in education I too would not choose to take my holidays during the school holidays. I love children I have two of my own who are now grown up but the fact is some parents do let their children run riot whilst on holiday, I am not saying for one minute it is any of the parents on here but some parents see a pool and the kids are in there from morning to late with no consideration for other holidaying guests :)

Clair I fear you have misunderstood me to a certain extent. Here is something else I wouldn't want within 200 yards of me when lounging by a pool whilst on holiday.

It's just that, as I approach my 40's, all I want now on holiday is peace and quiet.

As I said, one of the attractions of Letoon for us was the lack of children generally.

Be it the time of year, or whatever, most of the clientele at Letoon didn't have children with them and it was always tranquil and peaceful - paradise as far as we were concerned.

If we had found that the hotel attracted lots of kids and/or teenagers we might have looked for a more quiet hotel and left Letoon to the younger ones.

I hope you, your husband and little girl have an absolutely fabulous time:D.

Just in case people get the idea that I didn't like children being in Letoon's pool at any time.... ;)

I am remiss in not saying that the lady in the photograph is the lovely Hula Topp. :)

6 of of went to Lettoon for dinner last week. Most people had steaks which were really good. I had a pasta dish really nice. The chef is from Sharm el sheikh.Met the new owners, they seem nice and friendly. It was lovely to see Nevra back working there. Will definately go back there in July. During the day the glass doors were open.
