Nightlife for 16 yr olds

We are coming to Calis in July with our daughter and her four friends (all age 16!) - can anyone recommend any bars/nightlife?  We visited back in 2011 so know the nightlife is pretty low key, but were wondering if there was anywhere in Calis that was livelier, but not too lively if you know what I mean!

I wouldn't allow my 16 year old granddaughter in some of the aforementioned bars unless she was accompanied by someone much older.  Not a chance!!

Why??  are the bars rough???  -  We will probably be sat in a bar in the vicinity, but would have liked to give them a bit of freedom.

They will have a great time, they can sit and watch the B,52 waiters fight the Scarlett bar waiters in the street, and think wow, just like home.

I wouldn't have said they were rough ruthb, not at all and if you'll be nearby they'll be fine. All those bars are fun. All I was meaning is that I wouldn't allow my granddaughter in any of them alone with friends. In my opinion they'll be fine and will love it. For me personally, I would do the same as you.
