For Steak lovers in the area
« on: September 10, 2015, 15:32:00 PM »
We were in the big Migros today.  They have a new chill cabinet full of cuts of meat and also steak all pre-packed.  They had a big tee-bone steak for 31 TL and it looked very good. Also lots of other steaks.

Never, probably German, Polish or Chinese.  Unlike the U.K. you don't know where the steak came from.  :)

Migros have their own farms so the meat is Turkish. Apart from a couple of years ago when the ban on imported meat was lifted briefly due to scarcity they sell all their own meat.

That is interesting to know Nicola, so all the meat they sell is their own, they must have huge resources, where are their Farms?     We may try a couple of steaks to BBQ.

We have bought steak at the Butcher near the veg market in Fethiye for BBQ's when the family have been over, not very often and it has always been average.
Frances you and Scorcher should form Society, both  so predictable  when I post .   :)

Yes, as Scunner advised you, stop following me around with caustic comments about my posts.  Time you put a few posts worth reading, with recommendations or worthwhile comments.  Some people might say you are a troll.  I could not possible comment.
