???Am I missing something regarding the e-Visa application process ? I have now attempted to obtain an e-Visa on three seperate occasions, but can't put in an arrival date any later than 15/04/14. I wasn't aware that you could not obtain one more than 6 months in advance, after all, fIights can now be booked upto 12 months in advance.
Is there any guidance out there please ? Arriving 26/06/2014.

I think the limit is 3 months so you'll have to try again after 26th March.

Thanks KKOB. Can't see any info on the Turkish Embassy site. You'd think they'd mention that, because, come the holiday season, I foresee mayhem & possible problems with their website due to an application overload. Just an afterthought.This system seems great for most tourists, I just wander how this will affect the last minute holiday brigade? Might put a few off !!!

Hello. I got my e-visa at the end of last year and I am not travelling until 29 May 2014. I had no problem at all. I would try again if I were you

Hi tonyb,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I had the same problem earlier this week when I found that the system wouldn't go further than 3 months down the line (I too am going out in June). I abandoned the attempt and the following morning I received an email from the Turkish visa office noting that I had not completed the application and asking whether they could help. I explained by email but have heard nothing since. I intend to try again around mid March. Regards. Dennis

I think you could up until the end of last year but now (as KKOB said) a 3 month limit has been put on. I wouldn't bother trying again - not till the end of March anyway.

I too had a problem in applying for a visa,sent them an e- mail and Was told as Scunner says 3 months limit before you can apply. :)

Thank you all for the help. Perhaps a note on the FAQ section of the Turkish e-visa website might come in useful. Mind reading has never been my strong suit.
