Title: Rental Agreement have to be done at the notary office

Sorry to give you bad news but I have to do that.
Now, Rental agreements have to be done at notary office. Before just having rental agreement notarized, was enough.

Up to today, As you know landlord and tenant do the agreement  and send it to notary office with somebody to have it  notarized.

Now both sides of the agreement will be at the notary office and sign there.
Public Notary will control title deed, ID of landlord and tenant and have the agreement signed by sides.
If the Landlord  cant come to notary office (being abroad or in another city situations) will give a power of attorney to somebody to sign the contract for him.

This is needed for residency permit new applications and change of address from other cities like Marmaris to Fethiye. As you know immigration office stopped asking rental agreement on renewals if you did not change your address.

If you change address in same city again they don't ask rental agreement. (Calis to Hisaronu)
