Clouds over Babadag
« on: May 31, 2011, 20:43:09 PM »
Always beautiful, often amazing, the clouds that surround and wreathe the twin peaks of Babadag have fascinated me from day one. They and the mountain itself, are the main reason we chose our villa, as it has a superb view of Babadag, also the Taurus mountain range. Not sure quite what draws me to gaze at them as often as I do, but the feeling is that they were there long before I existed and will be there long after. Perhaps a shrink would say they give me a sense of security in these uncertain times.
These photos are as seen from our second floor balcony and the top floor. (Sorry, I don't know how to remove all the extra URL code)

Moody mountain
One I forgot about..

Just a few clouds but a great sight anyway..

Just back and saw too much cloud this year.  Not too mention one H**L of a thunderstorm and a fair bit of rain.
Main talking point this year is the weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bunny4jeff....please may I offer some comfort....you don't suffer this strange illness alone !!!  We are in uzumlu and I love sitting on the verandah watching the clouds circle.  Some times they are so low its as though we could step out on to them.  Fascinating pictures....thank you for sharing them.

They were taken with a Canon Powershot SX10 IS and a Nikon D60. One is using a small Pentax M30. Obviously I'm not a professional, but they turned out quite nice. Thanks!
