does anyone now know the final plan?  We always thought that it would make "economical sense" with all the changes that the "Sat" made, to have the main walkway past Erdemler, but have a further walk direct round to the Sat past the "birdwatch" tower...hence leading straight to there and the start of the main prom.

That would be a good idea Paz, but its not happening. We walked from the hydrofoil terminal in Fethiye all the way along the prom back to Calis. The last bit of it is over dirt track and some rocks. Thoroughly enjoyed it though.

Unfortunately the 'birdwatch' tower has been moved. It was cut in half and put on the beach road/prom that leads up to Sat from Calis Beach end. I can't see the prom getting as far as Sat - they seem to have curved the walk to the road now which ends after the hospital near where the man sells fish bait. ( as per the photos)

Shame about the birdwatch tower, what a lot of changes there seem to have been this winter!  We're out on Saturday and really looking forward to it.  Hope to see changes for the better, but with people's comments on a variety of subjects on the forum, hope we're not going to be disappointed!
