so called improvements to front that's looking a little dated? widening of the path to Red line that some premises have built on or use for tables etc, some were taking down there extended parts on Wednesday, more pics on that other site of plans.

The Beledye are not doing anything they haven’t before.Remember what the bottom end of BMB between the Dolphin roundabout and the bridge looked like. All of the businesses has “stolen” land/gone across the red line so they made them compliant. The Kordon had restaurants pulled down for literally camping on council land. The businesses on the front have obviously literally crossed the line so the Beldeye are enforcing their rights. In the long run it will be lovely.
BTW the canal has never been sterile 😂
