The Boys
« on: October 21, 2016, 12:02:53 PM »
Sorry I have been so long in putting any updates on but life has been pretty hectic for me. The lads have had a very bad summer as they are always much worse in the hot weather but sadly for the youngest boy his condition has now deteriorated so much he is now worse than his elder brother. He has been in and out of hospital for the last three months and this week we have paid for him to see another orthopaedist to get another opinion but it is the nature of their illness that it will constantly continue to get worse until the inevitable. They are incredibly happy with the new home and the railings alongside the ramp at the entrance have now been fitted. Hopefully they will have a much more comfortable winter with no draughts or leaks and I am constantly hearing through a mutual friend how eternally grateful they are . While I am writing this I would like to say yet anther huge Thank You to Mickinblack and his wife for a lovely bag of English goodies which we shall use to raffle for funds. Many thanks to them both .Any more news on the boys I will let you know .      Mavis and the team of Embrace x

Oh no, such sad news but at least we've tried to help make life just a little bit more comfortable for the boys. My heart goes out to the whole family.

Thanks for the update Mavis.

So sorry to hear about the youngest boy deteriorating like that.

Imagine how much worse it would have been for them all in their previous living conditions though.

Wonderful dedication from you and the team, Mavis.
