Any thoughts or opinions on the Alesta, and also it’s restaurant?

Thanks!

Certainly never book a mountain view room or anyway they describe it, absolutely on the back wall. Front rooms ok, no idea about restaurant now. Just for breakfast you mean? Havent eaten breakfast there fir a couple of years, but then was good, though couldn't touch the one at Ecesaray and probably not at the Yacht hotels.

We stayed at the Alesta Yacht a good few years ago now and can’t remember the breakfast at all maybe I didn’t bother having it, what I do remember is the pool is up on same level as the restaurant and it’s tiny the area around it is only nog enough to take 4/6 beds...
We also dined here one night again a good few years back, I’m sure there were a few CBF members giving it a try as the prices we’re cheaper then at the other Yacht hotels and it was lovely service, it’s also not quite as far up as the other Yacht hotels...

In the early days the menu was superb however it's gone down hill over the last few years. They appear to be more geared up to their own gullet customers. The view on getting out of the lift is quite something. As Karennina says the pool is tiny.

I could edit that for you Karen but then your later post wouldn’t make sense  :)

Thanks for all the info, we are doing our 3 days in Fethiye followed by a week in Calis again this October and I have the Alesta booked for a really good price (certainly compared with today).

For the money I think I’ll keep the reservation. I think we went for a land view, it better not be vertical land, 6” from the window  :D
