the food is excellent

We used to live in Colne & our daughter still does. Last year when we were over it had burnt down, so they must have re-built it.

Ha Ha, I still live in Colne, the Istanbul restaurant did burn down. We had the opposite scenario when it was on fire we were in our local when somebody said Istanbul is on fire, and one of the locals said oh no we are going there for our hols!:D. Anyway it has reopened and is now called La Villa, it is very popular, £2.00 for a pint of EFES. Oh and the food is very good.It also does private functions, we went to a 50th and they did a very good meze/turkish buffet. Also had belly dancers. :)Lynn
