Title: Help please
Post by: onefurtheroad on September 22, 2011, 23:25:04 PM
I am looking for some help.
We are going to do the Fethiye to Kayakoy walk in Oct and want to go to the Cin Bal restaurant for lunch. The problem is we have elderly parents with us on this occassion who wont manage the walk. If they get the Kayakoy Dolmus from Fethiye, can anyone provide a map showing the Dolmus stop and the Cin Bal restaurant so that we can meet up for lunch?
Thanks
Kenny

The dolmus from Fethiye to Kaya stops right outside the entrance to Cin Bal. Just get your parents to ask the dolmus driver to let them off there.

If you want to see it on a map use the following coordinates on GoogleEarth

 36°34'37.60"N   29° 5'29.01"E

Thanks Irene. If the mountain walk is steeper than has been suggested I might have to phone them to come and rescue me!!
Nah!! That'll spoil the adventure........and my chances of losing "the olds" for a morning.

If you're doing the walk from Fethiye, up the mountain road, to Kaya, keep to the left-hand side of the valley going up and you'll be able to use the old road. Turn left at the spring. It's got plenty of shade and, if you remember to stop and turn around, some fantastic views of Fethiye Bay and across to Calis.

Thanks Alan. Yes, doing the walk from Fethiye. Have detailed instructions from the "Turkeys For Life" blog that I was going to follow. They are pretty detailed, with pictures, so hoping that we wont get lost.
