We came back to the UK at the end of June, preferring not to be out there in July and August, and returning in late August. When we left it was promising to be a good, busy season with holidaymakers in the Olu Deniz, Hisaronu, Ovacik, and Fethiye areas.
Its now smack at the height of the season, so is it really busy out there right now ? Are there queues at popular restaurants waiting for tables ? Are there lots of turks out there on holiday like there was last season ?
Are most restaurants, shops, and bars busy ? I know it was `make or break` time this year for many.

Went along the prom on Thursday evening, absolutely packed everywhere, I would say mainly Turkish people, possibly because it was. Bayram earlier in the week.

Hisaronu ovacik both really busy and because of Bayram. I heard they were turning cars away at the top of hill as there was no parking left in oil deniz.

Busy tonight on Çaliş prom. In fact busier than I have ever seen it at this time of year. Even my 15 year old son commented on it, so I must be telling the truth!

Glad to hear its all very jolly in Calis, hope they all enjoy themselves and leave it quiet for the rest of us who prefer to holiday out of the July/August months :) :)
