I am sure Jacqui you will be able to help me with this.
I have been asked to buy a Michael Kors bag while in Calis/Fethiye any suggestion of the best places to buy please ?

However, for fakes. There is a shop on the left hand side of the main street in Calis walking away from the water taxis. They have M.Kors bags. They are quite cheap. Also the shop on the prom the one just up from Bella Mamas. It has clothes and Bags, their M. Kors fakes are quite good. Both shops have plastic M.Kors form £20-£30.
For Fethiye it would be Maya in Paspatur, but you will pay just about as much in there for a fake as a real one.
There is also a shop in Hisaronu that has good fakes. It is opposite Goldfinger. The guy in there is very good and will tell you what is leather and what is plastic. The leather ones are £40.00. (negotiable ).

My daughter bought one at the Sunday market - it was a bag stall on a corner at the very end of one of the rows - at the opposite end to the main road that has Cafe Pazar etc on it. I know nothing of handbags but it was cheap, it looks nice quality and she is very pleased with it.

We are there for a few weeks so got time to browse before buying 8)

Have bought 1 each from the market stall and the shop near Calis beach, both excellent quality, the shop has a lovely range and the lady who works there is lovely, helpful and never pushy.

Sorry, but I have never seen a good bag on the Markets, they are all plastic and all not good quality. I would stick to the shops as they do sell better fakes. I now have orders to bring them home, so do a lot of looking around I did buy a small fake Chanel for my Granddaugher at Calis Market for £10.00. It was plastic, but she is only 5 years old and love it.
Remember, ask if they are plastic, I have yet to see a leather one in the markets, but the ones in Hisaronu are leather.

Yes, that is the one I mentioned in my post. However, most of their fakes are plastic.

The British discount website, The Outnet, have some half price (leather) Michael Kors Bags today. Some are the same styles the fakes in Calis and Hisaronu. I know one bag, which is in the shops in Calis was quoted as £75.00 (plastic) The real leather genuine one on this website is £117.00.
I can vouch for this website. I have bought from them many times and all the things they sell are genuine,

The Michael Kors bag from the market is definitely leather and has worn extremely well and I have had many compliments . The new one from the shop is Calis is also leather.

I will have a look in the market next month mostly, the bags are £10-£20.00 and plastic. So, that is interesting, how much was the bag in the Market?
This is my Granddaughter with her £10.00 Chanel Bag that I got in the market. Frances, as you like Lees post, you could get one in the market for one of your Grandchildren ;)

I bought bag last visit from bag shop on main drag.I only bought it because it was VERY cheap and unusual. But its plastic.
I have bought from stall on back corner of calis market many times for myself ,friend and daughter in law. I never pay more than £15 but I do get a real good deal cause he knows me. Everything I have bought has been leather. the first I bought has been used for work every day for 3 years ,overfilled and abused and its still as good as new.I buy a bag from him at least 3 times a year.

The Outnet have a clearance sale today. Some of the sale bags have an extra 40% at the checkout. I note one Michael Kors leather bag was £220. Sale £132.00 plus an extra 40% off at the check-out. So, the fake leather Michael Kors in the bag shops (£75) is working out around the same price as the real Michael Kors on the Outnet.
However, some bags like Chloe are from £17.00.
