I parked on the back road out of Fethiye today, just past the side road where the Gunlukbasi dolmuses join that road. The Fethiye Park attendant was only a couple of spaces along as I pulled in. He greeted me & we exchanged pleasantaries, he then asked how long I was staying. I answered maybe 1 hour & he asked me for 2tl. I said that I would pay later & it was only then that he took his hand held computer from inside his jacket & issued a ticket for my windscreen.
In the event, one of the places I was going to call in was closed, so I was back within the 10 minutes free parking time.
Maybe it's just me, but I can't help but think he's on to a personal money making scheme. :o

The attendant who is usually along the area between McDonalds & the Ezcane has tried that on me a couple of times. >:(

Of course they are. They do the job for the "commission", not the wages. ;)
