We have been trying to get our visas on the https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en site; We complete the initial application which is successful but then either the confirmation e mail does not come through at all or it takes hours at which point we have gone past the hour that it allows you to click the link and proceed to payment. We are checking the junk folder as well of course.... We are not worried as we do not go until 20/5 but interested to know if others have had the same issue.. Howard and Marie ..

Yes, friends had exactly the same problems earlier this week

Try doing it on a friend's computer as i have heard about this problem before and sometimes it will work on another computer.

Whether you're using Firefox, Chrome etc can make all the difference.

Hi Howard, I think we chatting on here last September. Hope you are OK. Unfortunately you did not turn up at Nil bar. We met up with the other couple and had a drink. Sorry to hear you are having problems with visa site. We are out in Calis during May. Enjoy your holiday.

Hi Sheila, sorry we didnt make it last September .. we were on a day trip that was delayed getting back ..; we are there this year 20/5 to 27/5 so would be good to meet up .. we are staying at the same hotel (Ibrahim) and same room as before .. not 5 star but family run and authentic .. Howard, we are there for four weeks this year to celebrate my retirement! We are there from 5.5.17. Do you have I pad or able to get emails while in Calis? I was thinking we could get in touch while we are out there. perhaps meet for a drink?

When does your passport expire? If it expires within six months that will cause problems.

Will not accept payment click on box Mcard nothing you would think that would be the one box that would work can you still get your visa at airport?

We had same problem we were using bt internet tried a
different provider and it worked straight away.

The queues when we were at the airport last Tuesday night were massive. Six deep at the desks. I did not even notice if the Visa Desk was maned.
I remember last year a guy in front of us saying he did not have a visa and would buy one, the Visa desk was not maned. When he got to the Customs Desk, he was told to go to the back fo the queue and wait.
If I were you, I would try another internet provider.

My mum and sister had to get a visa at airport as I stupidly put the wrong date on the evisa. If the desk is not manned there is a phone that you use to summon the visa man.
