Tyrkish lessons in Havant
« on: December 15, 2006, 06:30:45 AM »
Yesterday we receive a prospectus for nearby Havant College (Hampshire) anfd next February there is a course entitled Turkish Improvers which will run for ten weeks. As I have had a course in Fethiye and with the experience of the language during my visits, I am tempted to apply so that I will be ready for my long visit during the summer. I feel that I fully nderstand Turkish grammar but what I really need now is to build up my vocabulary and, more important, to practice speaking to Turkish people. At least when I told the people in our local shop that I was taking lessons they said that from then on I was only to speak Turkish to them. So what I do is to practice what I want to say as I walk to the shop and then hope it comes out right when I get there!.
