Am I alone in being appalled by the sight of people scavenging along the beach where this ship rests.

I can hardly find the words... obscene, despicable.

There are even stories now of people breaking open containers with peoples personal belongings in them and ransacking them.

I suppose these greedy people would have no hesitation in doing the same if it had been a passenger ferry that had run aground and its was people's suitcases which had been washed ashore.

I'm disgusted by the whole sordid episode.
