Calling all CBF members. My digital camera is broken - I think it may be the shutter and it's going to cost a wedge to repair.
I am therefore thinking of buying a new one. YES,YES I know a Scotsman spending money...
I'm no David Bailey, so the camera doesn't need to be sophisticated and/or be multifunctional (it's for a man after all).
I don't know anything about pixels etc but I would like one with a zoom that didn't lose quality (if that makes sense)
A decent, reasonably priced, idiot proof replacement will do fine.
My existing one was a FinePix S3000 which looked a bit like this
I like the size because I don't like that credit-card affairs.
I might even just buy the straight replacement I think its called the S5600 now.
But I'd be very grateful for any advice/suggestions.
