I thought I would warn other members about a on-line banking e-mail my hubby has had twice now.
It says its from Halifax on-line banking and that he needs to update his on-line banking details otherwise this service will be canceled it asks you to click the link below to take you to the site to update your details.
Alarm bells rang straight away as he hasn't got that type of account with the Halifax but to someone that has they could be caught out.
I read about a similar story in a magazine a few weeks back about how this scam has work to clear out peoples bank accounts.
If you need to contact you bank type in the web address yourself but never make contact through a link as its intercepted by the scammers.
