We hhave just arrived back after dropping our friend paul at Dalaman airport, I checked on the sites (Flight tracker & BAA) for latest update on leaving the house, all ok.
We dropped him off said our goodbyes then just outside of Dalaman get a text to say flight is delayed until 11.30pm! follwed by another text saying they (400+ passengers) are being transported to Dalaman park hotel (paul say nice hotel except throngs of KIDS!) they have been told that the flight may not leave now until the morning. I told him that the websites are stating a 12.40am arrival back in the UK, but he doubts that.
If anyone has friends or relatives on OHY flights departing or arriving I advise to check or you could be hanging around the airport for a very long time.
UPDATE: should leave the hotel soon and all to plan arrive in the UK 4am Turkey time, 2 am UK, but the night is still young! And Paul was hoping to make last orders in his Local:D
