Where can I buy a Turkish Flag?

Any suggestions where I can buy a Turkish flag in Calis or Fethiye? They are everywhere at the moment but I can't find a shop that sells them?

Tuesday market is always a good bet. Someone usually walks round the market with both Turkish flags and football team flags.

The back road behind the fish market, but i went last weekend and they sold out, but you may get one now, its Kurban bayram next month, so you may want to put one up then.

Try the chandlery near the Ece Saray Marina, they have all different sizes.

There was an article in one of the Turkish papers a few days ago about Turkish flags.

Apparently it's the most popular selling item in the shops at the moment. The five main flag producers in the country are working 24/7 to keep up with demand but there is still a shortage of supply. Flags that were selling last year for 5 YTL are selling now for 15 - 20 YTL.

A few months ago I was in a small village, up in the mountains in the Adana region. I wanted some photocopies done.

Found a small shop which had a photocopier the shopkeeper would not take payment so I thought I should buy something. I didn't really want anything but I eventually decided to buy a Turkish flag. "Oh no I cannot allow you to buy that". He said."You must take it as a gift. It would be wrong of me to sell a flag to someone who shows such an interest in my country".

Anybody want a box of pencils?

They were selling them at the cespa market on the corner of the street that the oykun is on, the same place where they sell the gas bottles. Alan
