Visa run to Meis
« on: January 31, 2008, 18:13:13 PM »
Some UK people from Kalkan went today to Meis and were asked 15 euro for visa instead of 10£. I don't know who asked them. Maybe the boat man.

Is this normal?

Passport Police at Kas are reluctant to accept £s, that why it's 15 Euros.

Makes life easier because you only need to be carrying 2 currencies, Euros and YTL.

At least they didnt get asked for 50 EUROS (not selo) like I did but I got my money back 3 months later.  Yes 15 euros for long time now.
