I haven't posted before but after being charged for being 2kgs over on my suitcase last week I thought I would just warn all of you that are travelling with Thomas Cook in the near future.
THEY ARE CHARGING FOR EVERY KG OVER.
I booked 15kgs as didn't think i would bring much back from Turkey and my case was 22kgs. They tried to charge me for 7kgs but i informed them I did not have 5kgs hand luggage like nearly everyone else. (cabin cases) and they only charged me for 2kgs.
Indeed gone are the days when travelling from Dalaman they turn a blind eye or accept little money if you say you don't have much on you.
They are charging £6 per kg over.
Hope any of you travelling soon will find this usfull. Pre-book the extra 5kgs for less than a £10.
I'll be coming back home to Turkey in April and will deffinately be booking the extr 5kgs.
