When i get back to Calis, it wont be long before it starts going dark early, i was wondering if anyone knew someone that could sort out some sort of lighting system for my scooter, as it doesn't have any, just reflectors at the back. Alan

I'm sure one of the bike shops up on the top road could do that for you Alan

Alan,

Have you considered covering your headlight with a see through red plastic packaging tray from a box of family circle biscuits, and riding backwards?

Thank you all for your suggestions, i think Annes might be the best one, in the good old days i wouldn't have bothered, i'd have got to scarlett bar when it was light, and left the following morning when it was light, come to think of it that's why i'm in this mess in the first place, lol. Alan

Alan....have a look on Ebay for scooter lights, or particularly Vespa lights.....you can pick them up for about a fiver.  Then buy a small battery here, easy to wire up particularly if you have a basket to hold the battery.  Then easy to unclip and recharege the battery when needed. :)

Thanks Graham, not sure what what the voltage is, but i would think it will be 12 volt, also i wont be there in 5 weeks, i wont be in Calis until Aug 9th, and even that depends on whether there are any flights left for the the 8th when i finally get my pension sorted. Alan
