I'm looking forward to trying that place Mark. In pole position for me for Iskender kebap is currently the Megri Lokantasi. Somine Kebap was also good, if you got there on a day when the kebap chef wasn't off because of a family injury/the only chef who knows the kebap meat recipe is on holiday/the official kebap cutting knife had retired.

The Pasha do a really good Iskender as does Mehmet in The Harem. It was named after a chef in the 1860's Iskender Ustu who was the first to grill his meat vertically, the fore-runner of todays vertical kebab grills.
